A New Mosaic – Image of the Week

I’m excited to have recently completed two more mosaics. The first one pictured here, was a special commission for some friends who agreed to take on the daunting task of assembling and gluing the almost 2000 slate tiles to create a large version of Botticelli’s famous Birth of Venus. They were very happy with the end result. I think it turned out great, especially since I didn’t have to do the tough part of putting it together.

I will post later on my latest creation. My fingers are still aching from it.
