Bright Idea

The image of a light bulb turning on has long been associated with a flash of inspiration. Like flipping a switch, suddenly you can see the solution that you’ve been looking for. I recently read that a study had found that most “aha” moments come when you’re not actively trying to think of a solution. I know much of my own inspiration comes while I’m relaxing in the hot tub.
