I finally broke down and joined facebook. Not because I wanted to spy on my kids or communicate with all my old highschool friends I haven’t seen in decades, but because I was finding I couldn’t access some information online without an account. “Like me on facebook”. You must assimilate!
I can’t help but think it’s going to be a big time waster for me. If I don’t put the time into it will show with a meager amount of friends and likes. My daughter gave me a primer and help me set up a page. Perhaps she can help me keep it updated.

Dear Bill, what a lovely image!
If your image would symbolize the clocks speeding off into infinity, then by General Relativity, you would show the time being slightly different on each subsequent clock – since time slows down as speed increases.
On your image I see the hours changing for the various time zones – with relativity it would only be the second hand that changed for each subsequent image…

A very keen observation Rudolf! Yes, the original intent was the time zones. With this post I was thinking of how time seems to be going faster all the time. I’m not sure the theory of general relativity can account for that.

I finally got joined facebook. I went in kicking and screaming. I was tired of getting asked if I had it or not. I was missing communicating with friend in far off places. So my tips for you are:
1 watch out its addictive
2 you can set people up as friends, good friends, family, and so forth. You see post from good friends and family but not the other however they can still send you a message and you can look at their page.
Welcome to FB!

Thanks for the tips Kim. I’ll try not to get addicted.
