Here’s looking at you – image of the week

Nikon D1X, Nikon 200mm micro lens @ F16 1/200th, 125 iso

The image was shot with a macro lens and then PhotoShop was used to add color in the iris for drama. Thanks to my assistant/eye model Kristen for her lovely iris.

Hi Jaqui,
The main things I did in PS were (in order):

– desaturate the image
– tint the image light blue/green
– add the colour around the iris
– add a slight radial blur around the outside.
