Space Events
Did you know that the International Space Station is almost on it’s 50th Expedition Team since it launched in 1998? On June 18th, the team from Expedition 47 will undock and land in Kazakhstan. This team, from many countries, is just one of the many teams that are using the space station to help us better understand our universe. Check out their mission.
If you want to feel closer to the night sky, check out the Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower July 28-29, Perseid meteor shower on August 11-12, or the occultation of Aldebaran on July 29. These can all be seen without a telescope.
