Speed and Direction – Image of the Week

Completing targeted tasks quickly and efficiently is what we all strive to do. More importantly for me, is making sure I’m going in the right direction. A speeding arrow is a great visual means of conveying this concept. I initially submitted this close-up shot of a compass arrow without any Photoshop modifications, but it was rejected by my editor because it looked too static. After I added the motion blur using Photoshop’s radial blur function, it was accepted.
